What is HAZMAT?
Everything on this planet is made of chemicals. Hazardous Materials are either one or a combination of flammable, toxic, explosive, reactive or corrosive. The inherent properties of the chemicals determine the danger the chemical poses. Organic Peroxides tend to decompose into flammable components while producing high levels of heat and oxygen simultaneously. The mixture of flammable compounds, high levels of heat and oxygen are a recipe for a fire. Such a fire is difficult to fight, as all three elements are self-generated by the chemical. Read more ...
